After a long wait, Manmohan Waris’s new album is finally here. The album’s title is “Dil Te Na Laeen“. Here I present the first song from this album, “Mehsoos Ho Riha E”. The words of this song are by a wonderful new (relatively) writer Sukhpal Aujla, he also wrote Kamal Heer’s Chete Kareen. This video was shot in Rajsthan on 16mm film by Sandeep Sharma. Sat Sri Akal Bhaaji. It was a truly pleasant feling to listen to this song- Mehsoos Ho reha ae. I’ve been one of the first listeners to all the songs sung by Manmohan Bhaaji n Kamal Bhaaji. I even won a competition by singing kamal Bhaaji’s song. The lyrics that you choose are amazing always. I admire your lyrics as well. It’s a very nice feeling to know that some good guys have taken over from Mangal Hathoor. May Akal Purkh bless your whole team to continue the good work. When’ll the album release Bhaaji??

The song is longer, over 5 mins. But we have to cut all songs down to around 3.30 for videos, as that is the accepted length by most TV stations. Otherwise they cut it off and the story of the video doesn’t conclude. So the video versions are always edited versions. Just wait for the album to listen to the full song. It will be out within a day or two. Thanks for your support.

Bhaaji, the title song written by you is awesome. It presents the real life scenario.
You are too good at writing songs. The song *Dheean, Rukh te Paani* is also a great one. It is the first song on such a natural subject. Kudos to you for that. You are doing a great work in driving the Punjabi Music to new heights.
But only one sad song (for broken hearts). Could have added one more. Ha ha ha ha.
The album has something in it for all age groups.

Today only I got to listen the album by Manmohan Waris bai ji…
This post is not to review whole of the album, I would do it in some other post.
But this post is to appreciate one of its kind song in this album. The song is ‘Dhian, Rukh te Pani’.
Bhaji, iss geet baare koi jo marzi kahe… but I would say that this song is best in every sense, it’s composition, lyrics, social message (which is badly needed for today’s Punjab). I think this particular song puts your team to a different league; a league which we all are proud of ! This song delivers clear cut message to everyone.
This song also reminds me of Shiv Kumar Batalvi’s poem ‘Rukh’.
Nevertheless, I pray to Almighty to bestow us all with better civic sense, so that our beloved Punjab always smell & look like a fresh rose. Ameen !!
